The Seventh Power
Initially
named “Sweet Marie”, the ship’s fate (and name) changed after its original
owner was dealt a royal flush in a high stakes poker game. He wagered the ship, and Lucien “Lucky”
Hargrove (the seventh son of a seventh son) laid down four sevens and a wild
card to take the pot with his five-of-a-kind.
Detailed
and renamed “The Seventh Power”, the ship now serves as Lucky Hargrove’s
primary mode of transportation.
Instantly
recognizable as an Ardiko Astronautic Engineering Pung-class Starfighter with
its angular, chunky cockpit and short wing profile, this modified Vic Viper is
a serious piece of work.
The
stock AAE laser guns have been replaced with a pair of Radazat pulse cannons,
emphasizing the ‘fight’ in this Starfighter.
The
standard three undership engines have been repurposed as simple maneuvering
thrusters, and an AAE five stage Quyrier-class booster engine package
(including FTL mode) has been mounted at the rear of the ship. The ideal speed solution for combat, racing,
or interstellar journeys. (Since winning
the ship, Lucky has won several races, and just recently qualified for the
Phranuhm Asteroid Checkpoint Race.)
The
day of the photo shoot, Lucky chose to wear his black flight suit with the
stylized silver horseshoe emblem, along with his great-uncle Silas’ lucky blue
helmet.
